Long overdue post: Superman turns 20

This is waaaaay overdue.

Since i've been keeping this story for so long, i dont think i have the right mood and mojo to blog about this properly anymore. But hey gotta be fair, ayy? So let's make this quick and simple.

1. Superman themed cake, because he's such a Superman wannabe.

2. A watch as present.

3. Done at Sepang Gold Coast, 5 IN THE MORNING

4. We didnt sleep the whole night preparing for his birthday celebration, in order to make the surprise work

5. Eggs and flour were thrown that day.

6. Since it's a surprise, we had his eyes closed with clothes tied around his head. He struggled hard like some lunatic getting seizures. SO NOT COOPERATIVE.

7. Happy belated 20th, Zuley :)

Being 20 doesnt separate us from our inner child, indeed.

Just something i got from Tumblr

Favorite TV Shows
Pick your top 5 shows at the moment, and answer the following questions. Don’t cheat.

1. How I Met Your Mother

2. The Big Bang Theory

3. American Horror Story

4. Chuck

5. Pretty Little Liars

1. Who is your favorite character in 2?
Need i say more? SHELDON COOPER of course! He's the reason why i watch the show

2. Who is your least favorite character in 1?
Between the gang, i've gotta pick Marshall. I dont hate him, just the least favourite.

3. What’s your favorite episode of 4?
The episode where Chuck got kidnapped and was brought to Thailand and Sarah went crazy searching for him. It was the episode where Sarah asked Chuck to marry him :') I shed a couple of tears, really

4. What is your favorite season of 5?
Well as for now the show has only 2 seasons, and i think the 2nd season is better

5. What’s your favorite relationship in 3?
Tate & Violet! Beyond freaky but so romantic in its own weird way

6. Who is your anti relationship in 2?
Leonard & Priya. I dont like Priya, just because...

7. How long have you watched 1?
I have just started last year, but up till now i have watched each and every one of the episodes in all 7 seasons

8. How did you become interested in 4?
Purely television

9. Who is your favorite actor in 2?
Jim Parsons aka Shedon Cooper... DUHH!! That man is just too funny

10. Which show do you prefer, 1, 2, or 5?
Close one between 1 & 2. But i think How I Met Your Mother wins. The show never fails to entertain

11. Which show have you seen more episodes of? 1 or 3?
How I Met YourMother. It has more episodes but I have seen all of both

12. If you could be anyone from 3 who would you be?
I would like to be Tate please :)

13. How would you kill off your favorite character in 1?
Probably Ted brutally slaughtered by the woman of her dreams? But no i would never kill Ted off! It doesnt make sense anyway if he's dead. The whole show is about him talking all this while to his children

14. Would a 3/4 crossover work?
Sure. Instead of making Chuck an incredible spy, the Intersect would make him an awesome ghostbuster with a digital sixth sense. Sarah could be the ghost of the house or something. Ok i have no idea what i'm writing about.

15. Pair two characters in 1 that would make an unlikely, but strangely okay couple
Ted and Robin? They are VERY UNLIKELY to happen now due to the current awkward situation going on between them, but they still make an okay couple. They were once a couple after all.

16. Over all, which show has a better cast, 3 or 5?
Gotta give credits to the cast of American Horror Story as they are some big names and talented actors there. But Pretty Little Liars' casts are all pretty faces, hard not to love em!

17. Which show has a better soundtrack, 1, 4 or 5?
Definitely Pretty Little Liars.

From KAMI to Projek Pop

Memandangkan entri kali ni temanya ada unsur unsur Malaysia sikit so aku pun nak menulis dalam Bahasa Malaysia. Kalau guna English nanti macam tak kena pula. Macam poyo pun ada.

Hari tu aku ada tengok satu cerita dekat 8tv tajuknya Projek Pop. Gempak jugak lah. Ada Christina Suzanne, Iedeil Putra, Hujan. Aku tengok muka muka ni ada je aku dah menggelabah excited.

Projek Pop mengisahkan tentang susah senang belakang tabir pembikinin sebuah konsert. Tunjuk macam mana proses kecoh kecoh belakang stage apa semua. Siap dengan soundcheck gone wrong lah, wartawan menyibuk lah, artis bajet demanding habis diva lah and whatnot.

Wey, sumpah looking forward to that episode *fangirling*.

But with all the Malaysian indie acts involved in this series, i cant help remembering the days when Kami was aired, also on 8tv. Kami, i think (correct me if i'm wrong), was the first show that's brave enough to introduce the country's indie scene and took it to a whole new level.

Eh aku ni dah apahal tiba tiba tukar bahasa? Poyo... Poyo...

Siapa tak suka tengok Kami? Masa tu siapa yang tak tengok Kami serious tak cool. Aku tak ingat sangat, tapi rasanya masa tu aku Form 3? Form 4? Zaman zaman baru nak rasa remaja, baru nak rebel bajet troublesome buat benda benda tak elok supaya sepuluh tahun lepas tu boleh look back dan cakap macam ni

"I've done that and i regretted it."

Masa tu aku dekat asrama jadi aku tak boleh tengok dekat tv. Ahad malam aku ada prep. Jadi demi untuk sentiasa kelihatan cool, aku pun bertungkus lumus catch up episodes of Kami yang aku tertinggal dekat internet. Ya, memang desperate sampai macam tu. Sebab alasan paling utama aku tonton Kami adalah supaya aku nampak cool.

Ok tipu. Alasan paling utama aku tonton Kami ialah Ali.

Ok tipu lagi. Sebenarnya aku nak tengok Kami sebab cerita ni memang best.

Pehhh, mendalam siot.

Kami ni ramai peminat, jadi aku pelik sedikit kenapa tak ada season 2. Season 1 dah lah 8 episod je. Instead, kau bagi kitorang Kami The Movie. Aku prefer season 2 daripada movie kot. Dah lah dalam movie tu tak pasal pasal kau bunuh Abu. Shit!

Zaman ni aku memang dah berjinak sedikit dengan muzik muzik indie. Couple, Estrella, Bunkface (masa ni Bunkface tak masuk mainstream lagi, masih cool) dan sebagainya memenuhi playlist MP3 aku. Jadi bila aku tengok Kami, aku jadi makin terdorong. Aku mula rasa nak pergi gig. Aku tak kata lah aku ni jenis hardcore minat underground muzik ke apa, but after that i've watched OAG, Bunkface, Estrella, Couple, Bittersweet, The Times, Butterfingers (and probably more, i couldnt remember) perform live.

Tapi sekarang dah tak. Macam aku cakap dalam post Rock The World tempoh hari, my indie days were way over. Bawak aku pergi gig kecil kecil boleh lah. Tapi kalau sampai nak mosh... i'm too old for that shit. Tapi aku tak tinggalkan 100% muzik muzik indie ni. Hmm what a pity.

Anyway, bottom point is,

I KNOW RIGHT. ANNOYING BETUL NINA NI. DARI TADI MEMBEBEL MERAPU MERABAN RUPANYA TAK SAMPAI POINT LAGI.

I missed those moment. Aku tengok Projek Pop, aku teringat Kami, aku teringat muzik...

So i'm watching Kami all over again! Yay! Tengah episod 6 ni! Masih in the mood! Bye nak sambung!

p/s: Catch Projek Pop on 8tv every Sunday, 10.30pm ke 11pm entah. Aku cakap entah sebab promotion iklan semua kata 10.30pm tapi haritu aku tengok dekat tv pukul 11pm so.... mindfucked.

Just because i have nothing better to do

It has come to a point during my holidays where i have nothing better to do so i decided to blog about petty little things.

I was bored earlier. And when i'm bored, my laptop became my bestfriend. I clicked and scrolled. When suddenly i came across this one video of two little small twins dancing to Bruno Mars' Lazy Song.

You know i have this fascination towards cute kids, right? I adore them too much that sometimes i ended up making a fool of myself. For example, whenever i see cute kids or babies around, i would shamelessly pinch their cheeks or pat their head if i feel like it. I couldnt care less with the angry glares i got from their annoyed parents.

My friends hate it when i do that. Did i embarass you guys? Yeah? I will not stop. Haha

Anyways, back to the video i was writing about. I couldnt help myself from clicking since, err, hello. KIDS + DANCING = MAJOR CUTENESS. The Bruno Mars video was so cute and funny, they imitated the dance steps quite well and even pulled their pants down while doing the dance in their panties like Bruno Mars did in his video! So horny cheeky oneee.

I was amazed so i watched more of their videos (as of now, i have watched them all teehee). Turns out those were videos of them playing Just Dance on Wii, posted by their parents. They became a Youtube sensation some time last year, but i have never heard of them till a couple of hours ago. Noob alert, okay, whatever.

This one up here is my favourite, where they did LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem. I love how they showed some attitude, being all gangsta and trying to shufle and all. So bloody adorable i feel like slapping them right on their chubby lil faces.

And I cannot give these cuties enough credits for being so talented! They danced so well, even better than some people of my own age.

I cant help noticing the fact that these twins were always in matching clothes. How adorable! They made me want to have twins of my own, but haha who am i kidding. I aint gonna squeeze two big melons out from my vagina, nu'uh! But when i do have kids, i would definitely teach them to dance like Justin & Jeremy over here. Or i can teach them to sing while playing battle with me on Singstar...

Being all gangsta

But first i have to find a cute future husband so that, hopefully with the mashed-up genes, my kids will be the cutest creature anyone had ever seen.

Challenge accepted!

This is a rare post, where i complain about my holidays

Last week was both fun and sad.

I started my semester break last week but didnt went home straight away. Stayed in Shah Alam for a week as i was required to perform on the 28th. A week spent in Shah Alam was a bore, but not completely. I still had fun occasionally. Let's see. What did i do last week that can at least be considered as fun?

I went shopping with the book vouchers i got. Yeah that's fun. Late night supper out with the bunch, that's fun too. Oh. And we did Zuley's birthday celebration the other day at Sepang Gold Coast. God, he was such a pain in the ass, wouldnt even cooperate for his own birthday party. For one milisecond there i was convinced i was friends with a chimpanzee. So freaking annoying! Haha. Would probably blog properly bout this one once the photos are uploaded.

I think that's about it. Other days would just found me in my apartment watching downloaded tv shows or reading books i bought earlier. Like a sad sad lonely person. It comes to a point where dance practice would become the only thing i look forward to everyday.

Speaking of which, the performance went well. I guess. I did two performances, in which one was terribly done in my opinion but the other one was quite a success. But feedbacks were not so bad so i guess i didnt humiliate myself completely that night, oh thank God. Unfortunately, not a lot of photos of me were taken that night since i was too busy eating. If i wasnt on stage, i was at my table eating. That pretty much sums up how my night went.

Somewhere along the week, i received a bad news. My friends and i were heartbroken when we heard bout the news and everyone was so gloomy. But i dont want to elaborate on this since everything is not official yet. Right now, we're just hoping for the best and our prayers answered.

Anyways, i am home now. One month of semester break, whoa. Believe me, that's the longest holiday i've ever got since i entered college. One bloody whole month. What am i going to do here??

I FORESEE A MONTH FULL OF EXTREME BOREDOM AHEAD.

I am the Grinch of laser tags

So what's new?

I remembered Valentine's Day being just a few days back. I'm guessing the day went quite well for some people and some just didnt give a damn... like me. For starters, i'm a Muslim and apparently we Muslims dont believe in this "day full of love" crap. We celebrate love everyday, well, why shouldnt we be? And secondly, if we were into this kind of thing, i wont even have a special person to spend the day with...

...because everyone loves me! How to choose only one?! I dont want to be the one breaking people's heart on Valentine's Day.

Haha. Ok i kid.

Adding up to my recent updates, my finals are finally over. Wouldnt want to be commenting more on that. What happened, happened. And i certainly cant undo anything at this point, so yeah, redha and tawakkal it is.

I guess that's it for a quick update. So what's new in YOUR life? Anything interesting or memorable happened recently? Care to share?

Haha i kid you again. I dont want to hear stories about your boring little life. Bazinga.

Maaan i'm so creepy. Blogging like i'm talking to someone when in reality i'm just talking to myself.

ANYWAAAAYYYSS

Picking up from where i left off in my recent post, i wrote about my intention to blog about the recent weddings that i've been to. Erm but when you look at it now, it wont be that recent actually. Try a month ago.

So the first wedding was Zuley's sister's. We went all the way to Johor Bahru for this wedding and stayed there for the weekend. That wedding was really something. To be honest, i have never been to a really cultured Malay wedding before. That, or i have, but didnt care enough to notice. At this wedding, i got to contribute a bit by preparing the doorgifts and Zuley's family basically had free labor. I knew i complained a lot, but hehe that was just to annoy him. Frankly, despite the tiredness and all, i actually felt honored that i was given a chance to participate. We even got to stand at the tolls, and we were in the official wedding photos for heaven's sake! And we're not even family! Thank you for making us feel so welcomed :')

Free labors

Speaking of tolls, do you know that in a Johorian wedding, there are tolls keeping the groom away from the bride? I didnt! The groom would have to pay every single person standing in his way, kinda like bribery i must say, until he cleared all the tolls and can finally reach the bride. I got paid and was excited as hell like a kid who just got duit raya from a stranger.

Yeahh that's right dude. You wanna get to her, PAY UP!

Us, destroying the wedding photos without shame

The trip meanwhile was quite delightful. We had Faitz coming down all the way from Terengganu just to hang with us for the weekend. And we did Damia's surprise birthday celebration too on the same weekend. The days were so packed and i didnt have enough rest, but i had total fun.

Nothing beats a good weekend spent with the dudes :) And one dudette. Haha.

With Faitz Aqira. Follow him on Twitter! He loves Twitter, A LOT. Hehe

Birthday celebration. Got her a Harimau Malaya jersey with her name on it!

The next wedding that i went to was just a few days before my examination started. I had to hear complaints from my mom saying i should not be going out at a time like this.

"Dah habis pandai lah sampai boleh pergi wedding lepas tu lepak dengan kawan ni?"

Yeah yeah mummy sheesh.

Anyway, this wedding was Emira's sister's. This one was just in Subang and since it's so near i guessed, oh what the heck screw exams, i'll go. Besides, i was really looking forward to meet my old high school friends at the wedding. The day was expected to be spent with just us girls, probably be doing some gossiping or looking at hot guys in baju melayu lipat lengan, but turns out...

SEMUA PUN NAK BAWAK BOYFRIEND. OKAY. LEPAS TU FATIN & HELMI PICK AKU, AKU RASA MACAM KENA JEMPUT DENGAN PARENTS. OKAY.

Haha dont get me wrong, i like their boyfriends, i really do. No problem with that. But i just thought we could have some "us" time, y'know? Girls, if any of you guys are reading this (which is very unlikely), dont get mad! I dont hate your boyfriends hehe. Hmm too bad my boyfriend is too busy flying around saving the world, or i could have joined the party.

Despite all that, i had a great time at the wedding. 90% of the greatness didnt came from the wedding, of course, but the company i had with me. But the wedding itself went quite well. They even have performances of kids dancing in front of the pelamin awww so cute i can die.

Prety pretty polaroid

The bride's sister, Emira! .... And Fateen Aqeela. To be honest i'm just putting up this photo because Fateen put multiple photos of me in her blog. Boy, she must really love me.

After we ate, we went down to the house's basement (yes, the house has a basement filled with entertainment, yes very cool indeed) because it was getting too hot outside. Some kids were playing Wii. And i came to terrorize them.

Haha. Here's a funny story.

My friends and i were talking about plans to hang out in the future. One friend suggested that we play laser tag and i suddenly got all excited and started rambling facts and experiences on the game (ecehh "experiences" padahal baru main dua kali).

One kid suddenly asked me,

"What is laser tag? Is it the game with the guns?"

"Yes. You ever played?"

"No... i scared."

"Do you know how people play the game? The shoot lasers at you and then when you got hit, you die. Not in the game only, tapi betul betul die. You want to play with me?"

"No... i dont want to die." At this point his lips were trembling. Hillarious!

"Memang la you can die, but it's fun! Later we play ok?"

Then his older brother, who was old enough not to believe me, got all excited and said he wants to play some day. This terrifies the little kid.

"NO ABANG! YOU CANNOT PLAY! YOU CANNOT DIE!"

God knows how hard were we laughing. This kid... so clueless, so cute. After that we changed the topic but the kid sat at one corner, whispering to himself.

"I dont want to play laser tag. I dont want to play laser tag. I dont want to play laser tag."

Roflol i freaking traumatized him. My friends were all like, Nina tengok apa kau dah buat eee jahat. Yeah yeah, but you guys have gotta admit, this is fun. I know because you guys were laughing at him too.

When we were leaving, he grabbed my baju kurung, asking where am i going.

"I want to go play laser tag."

"NOOOO!!"

He didnt want to let my baju kurung go. I had to admit i was kidding. And there goes all the fun.

The shit just got real

My fingers are itching to blog. They are like telephatically yelling at me asking me to write just about anything. So i was like "Okay, okay.. typing this now..www.blo..."

And now here i am.

Screw what i just wrote. I was actually planning on blogging like a week ago on the recent wedding receptions i went, each with a different set of my homies. It was super fun! Who knew weddings can be fun. I used to be the kid who goes to weddings JUST to eat. I wont even be bothered to even catch a glimpse of the pelamin or the bride and groom.

"Alah panasnya. You done eating, mummy? Daddy? Ok jom balik."

But i've got a different view on weddings now. Well, i'll comment on that later in another post.

I cant really blog much now since the bloody final examination period is on. As of now, i have answered 5 of the papers, meaning i have 5 papers left and one week of torture to go. Preparing a real blog post will take some time off my studying, so yeah imma put that aside for a moment and here i am presenting you with this shitload of crap.

Forgive me, like i said earlier, i was just dying to write a new post. Why is it that when i dont have enough time, ideas came bursting out of my head demanding for em to be posted in my blog. But when i have all the time in the world, my mojo in blogging just wont come back. Sigh. This is one twisted world we're living in.

So untill then, let me get my exam papers over and done with. I need all the luck i can get, SO YOU BETTER WISH ME LUCK because the shit just got real.

Every final examination in college is like SPM all over again. Just let me die and end my misery.

By the way, have you guys tried the app for iPhone, Simsimi? That is one rude and offensive (yet funny) bot i tell you. Who the hell teaches it to respond in such a way? God, if Simsimi was my child, he wont be getting any dessert after dinner tonight.

So last weekend my boyfriend left me....

...and yeah i was pretty devastated. Still am, actually. I mean, we had this relationship that's been ongoing for 5 years, and now he suddenly leaves me. 5 years is a really, really long time. Not many couples can last that long. Cant really say i didnt get the heads up though, but i was just degil enough to ignore the fact, thinking maybe he wont leave. Maybe he'll stay... for a couple more years?

But he did left. He did. Last Saturday.

Whyyy sayangku Zachary Levi whyyy? Kenapa you sanggup tinggalkan i?? You nak i kecewa sampai bunuh diri ke sayang??

Okay i was kidding. I didnt have a 5 year relationship with anyone, incase that's still not obvious to you.

I was actually talking about Chuck, one of my all time favourite series, which ended for good after 5 seasons just last Saturday. I still cant believe to this very day that there will be no more Chuck, Sarah, Ellie, Awesome and the others to cheer my day. I admit, i didnt start watching Chuck until the show reaches its third season because back then when i was in school, we had no Astro and 24/7 access to the internet. So after i finished with my SPM, i caught up with all the missed episodes without missing not even one, right until the very end.

Some people asked me, why do i like Chuck so much? Especially that i'm a girl. Not many of my girlfriends watch Chuck as they would resort to something more girly like Gossip Girl or 90210. Well, for me, i have always loved a good spy flick. You know, Mission Impossible, James Bond and that kinda stuff. Chuck here definitely fits in that category, only different.

Unlike normal spy stories, the real spy in Chuck is the girl. However, the nerd who got a genius spy computer stucked in his head, was forced to become a spy. And with that, the journey begins for 5 whole seasons. A lot has happened. They've defeated numerous bad guys like The Ring, Fulcrum and Volkoff. Chuck and Sarah even fell in love and got married, and so did Ellie and Awesome who later got a baby girl. Even the stupid Morgan found the girl of his dreams and is settling down. For 5 years, they went from CIA, to freelance spies, to non-spies. It's these things that happened that makes it so hard for a Chuckster like me to actually let the show go. I mean, i've been there when Chuck and Sarah got married, when Sarah almost died, when baby Clara was born, when Daniel Shaw killed Chuck's father, when the Intersect switched hands multiple times... hey, i'm practically a family!

God, even writing this makes me sad.

Most of the Chuck fans would think that the ending of Season 4 would be the perfect ending, where Chuck and Sarah finally got married and they can live happily ever after since they were no longer CIA spies and have a fortune left from Volfkoff. But it didnt end there. Season 5 came along, and everything went upside down.

I would not want to be giving any spoilers here, but let me just say that the series ended pretty sad. Everything went well for everybody, except Chuck and Sarah. After 5 years of being and working together, you'd think that they'll catch a break and finally be happy. But they did not. I dont know, maybe they eventually did, but the show ended as if all of the 5 years worth of their hardwork went down the drain.

I personally was very devastated, i even shed a tear in the last two episodes cause everything became so intense and emotional especially when they always bring up snippets of Chuck and Sarah moments all the way from season 1. It's really heartbreaking to be watching all of the memories built, knowing that they dont exist anymore. For those who have not watched the season finale, you must be wondering what on Earth happened that took everything away from Chuck and Sarah. Well, i guess you should just check it out yourself.

The most heartbreaking scene for me in the season finale was when Chuck brought Sarah to the house of their dreams, where Chuck told Sarah of their story. It was so sad, Chuck was crying for God's sake, i cant even.... *cries*

Dont get me wrong, i am not saying that it was a bad ending for the show. It was actually quite good, considering it didnt satisfy the cliche ending of happily ever after. I dont think anyone would've guessed that it would end that way. So thumbs up for the element of surprise. But my heart secretly wishes that it wouldn't end that way because it's really sad. I have been rooting for them for 5 years and now here you are presenting me with this bad news. Oh the heartache :'(

Anyways, cant be a baby forever, can i? Eventually i would have to accept that Chuck is finally gone. And i would definitely have to accept the fact that it ended that way. Come to think of it, the ending was more of a new beginning. "The big finish was the new beginning" , a reviewer wrote. And the show ended with a kiss on the beach, with the very last line being Sarah saying "Kiss me, Chuck." , which definitely puts a smile on my face (and my guess, other Chuck fans too).

Goodbye forever, Chuck. Maybe a few years later, i'll be watching you again, right from the very beginning, and be reminded of how awesome of a spy you were :)

I am a proud Chuckster, always and forever will.

Annoying Things People Do At Concerts

Hmm so i was inspired by my recent post to write about this. Truth be told, I've been dyiiiiing to point these out, so here's my chance.

LEGGO!

Here are the types of people that makes me wish i'm at home instead of a concert:

1. Sweaty and smelly

Of course, it is perfectly normal for someone to get sweaty at a concert. The place is packed and they are so many people there. You can even get sweaty in an air conditioned space, so all is forgiven. But if you know that you're the excessive sweaty type, please use your common sense and wear the appropriate clothes. Dont wear clothes that absorbs ALL your sweat, it gets completely drenched that even the person beside you can feel your sweat. Atleast wear something inside, like a thin shirt or something, so that others wont have direct contact with your sweat. And also, for God's sake, please wear deodorant. Perfume is definitely not enough. Spray perfume as much as you want, but if you dont wear deodorant, you will smell anyway when you sweat. It gets worse when you wear sleveless tops, oh myyy.

2. Chatty people who talks about annoying stuff

This usually happens before the concert starts. Yeah i know, you got bored after waiting for hours and hours and you started to get all tensed up you feel like your head is gonna explode. But you know what? You're not the only one who feels that way. Talking loudly to your friends about stupid stuff that the whole world can hear you aint gonna help anyone. You can have your conversations, but please do it at a considerable volume. People who talk talk talk loud loud loud is terribly annoying, especially in this situation when everybody else is also tensed, so it became extra mega times ten to the power of six annoying.

3. Lovey dovey couples

I cant help rolling my eyes everytime i see couples who thinks they have the most incredible love story in this planet and cant stop looking at each other with googly eyes at concerts. I get confused. Did you came here to listen to some music, or were you just finding an excuse to grab your girlfriend's ass when it's dark?

There's this one couple behind me at FTP's who just wouldnt let each other go and were hugging the entire freaking time. And i kept hearing the girlfriend say "Sayang, janganlah pegang macam tu. Orang ramai nii. Hihihihi." LIKE HELLOOO, GET A ROOM PLEASE! They were even more annoying couples, in which the boyfriends would let their girlfriends to sit on their shoulder while standing. Ok fine, you love your girlfriend so much that you're willing to bear the pain of having to carry your girlfriend's huge ass, but imagine what the people behind you feeling. They cant see a thing for crying out loud! That is so selfish, i hope you couples have ugly babies.

4. Texting and tweeting

People are jumping around, enjoying music, and there you are right in the middle of the hyperactive crowd... texting/tweeting. Dude, what if someone accidentally push you and your phone slips from your hand and gets swallowed by the black pitch (not to mention full of people's legs) floor? There's no way your phone will survive that, i guarantee. Might as well save us the guilt, and DONT DO THAT. Checking and updating your phone once in a while is ok, but if you have your head down most of the time instead of focusing on the stage, well, i suggest you go marry your phone. And again, have ugly babies.

5. Backpacks

I honestly dont understand why people bring backpacks to concerts. Did you think concert is another word for camping? What do people put in those bags anyway. The huge bags would just take up all the space and makes it more crowded than it already is. It gets more intolerable when the bags are so huge it blocks my view. If you couldnt leave your enormous backpacks at home, well.... go marry your backpacks and have ugly babies.

6. High heels

This, i also dont understand. To me, i think concert outfits should be comfortable and easy to move in cause you're gonna be there for a long time and there's not enough space so you would have to wear something that can actually let you breath and live. Just put on some good ol sneakers and you're good to go. Those wearing high heels, i cant even... I can almost feel their excruciating pain. And imagine if you were dancing to the music and you accidentally stepped on someone's foot? That would cause some trouble. Sigh why are these people so dumb. Kesian. If you are trying to impress the celebrity on stage, dont bother. They cant even see your pretty legs, sayang. Beauty is pain your ass lah.

7. Cameras and camcorders

You know, when people go to concerts, they want to be able to see the stage. Well atleast i know i do. I didnt pay hundreds to see cameras and camcorders held high, blocking my view. Taking a few pictures is fine, but recording the WHOLE show? That's just unacceptable. Maybe these type of people are trying to be famous on Youtube or something, whatever, but please. Think of others too. We suffer because of you dude, suffer!

8. Aggresive dancing

A concert is not a club. Nor a dance studio. If you're planning to show your moves, then just dont. This usually happens at gigs, where teenagers would just went all crazy as if someone flipped their switch. But we see some of these people at concerts too. Should i repeat for a million times more, that at a concert, the place is pretty crowded. Not much for dancing there dude. Jump around a little or sway to the music, that's fine. Just.. dont get confused and thinks you're in So You Think You Can Dance. Aggresive dancing can shift others' attention from the stage to you, and that's just disturbing.

There are more, but i can only think of these at the moment. Maybe i'll add more later, maybe i wont. So tell me, have you met these kind of annoying people? I bet you have, and i bet you want to tear their limbs apart like an angry werewolf like i do.

And if you find yourself listed in any of the catogaries above, tolonglah berubah wahai manusia. Kesian do orang lain merana woi. Please cooperate, and let's have fun together!

Foster The People Live In KL: Getting The Kids All Pumped Up!

What a great way to start 2012. One of the biggest indie rock bands to hit the scene in 2011 just came to town!

Last Friday night yeah we danced on table tops..... Eh.

Last Friday night saw me singing (or screaming?) and dancing to Foster The People's upbeat music. They were having their first ever concert in Malaysia in KLCC with just a few songs from ONE album to gamble. Man, these guys got guts.

The show started off with "Houdini" which automatically transformed me straight from the sensible Nina to the "I LOVE THIS SHIITTTTTTTTT" Nina. They played 13 songs altogether which came from their album Torches (the one and only), including a couple of unfamiliar songs, probably teasers for their new album. They also did a cover of Weezer's "Say It Ain't So" which i think was beautifully done. Weezer can be proud. And of course, they finished with a good remix of their hit "Pumped Up Kicks" which got everyone singing to the top of their lungs since, hey, siapa tak hafal memang noob gila okay. However, if i were to pick a favourite from that night's show, it'd probably be Don't Stop. The song has been my ringtone for months and when i finally hear them play it live... MAN, I GOT SEIZURES!

Foster The People Live In KL - Dont Stop

I was probably somewhere in that crowd, going crazy. Yeah... that's probably my hand. Yup that one uhuh uhuh.

Mark Foster, need i say more, was superb. He handled the instruments like he owned them, and made the show a bit more interesting with his silly shuffle and shoulder moves on stage. He's very talented, that young man. I doubted his singing talent at first, cause you know, with the song Pumped Up Kicks being autotuned on the radio and all. Turns out he has a really good voice, kinda reminded me a bit of Maroon 5's frontman, Adam Levine.

He even gave the fans some inspirational words.

“Love what you do and don’t do it for success or money. I want to encourage you — just do what you love and work hard. Don’t let fear get in the way. We took a long time working at jobs we did not like to get here to be with you and the next song is about the struggle.”

All in all, the entire show was satisfying. I didnt regret any cent spent, and any second of me being there. Foster The People did an outstanding job and i'm pretty sure that by the time they left KL, they had gained more fans than before. Despite the small riot that happened right before the concert, everything was a success. I had a great time! (Thanks to the riot, i managed to get in the Fanatic Zone with just a RM98 ticket! Hekhek i'm pretty sure if any of the Fanatic Zone ticket holders is reading this... they're pissed!)

However, prior to the concert, i have been getting these annoying comments, such as...

Going to FTP's concert, trying to look hipster?
FYI, i am not claiming myself a hipster or whatsoever. I am just a girl who enjoys their music. Is that so hard to understand. Why should anyone believe that everyone who went the the concert is trying to look cool and all fake hipster-ish? How blonde. And if they were hipsters, why is that bothering you?

FTP only got one album. You think it's worth it? They're just some indie band trying to go mainstream.
One album, yes, but a great one. I love almost all of their songs. And i dont think it's a waste of my time and money if i truly like the thing i'm doing. Besides, it's my purse i'm forking my money out from, so again, why should you bother? And if you think they're just some indie band, too bad i dont. They're not JUST some indie band, they're an awesome one who makes good music. I find this hard to hear, especially when it comes from someone who worships Justin Bieber and his kind. Pfft what a musician.

You only know one song from the radio, Pumped Up Kicks, and now you think you're some sort of a fan?
Who the hell said i only know one song? I have the entire album downloaded and i listen to them all the time. I know the lyrics, i know the beat. If there's anyone who only knows one FTP song, it's you. And believe it or not, most of the people who went to the concert sang along to almost all of the songs performed, not just Pumped Up Kicks.

Mark Foster sounds like shit live.
No he doesnt. He sounds good and he plays good. I have never seen someone play the keyboard as crazy as him before. FTP sounded as good live as they do in their album or the radio. These are not lip-syincing Kpop dudes ok!

Mehh. Maybe these people were just jealous cause they're missing out on a night filled with joy!

p/s: We didn't manage to snap any pictures from the night cause we couldn't enter the hall with a DSLR, so we had to ask for a kind stranger's help to keep the camera in their car. Meanwhile, Damia's phone was running out of battery and my phone's camera is just blergh so.... yeah. No pictures. BUMMER KAAANN. The photos above are taken from TimeOut KL and Seventeen's review post.

Cliche post: The Recap

So what had 2011 taught me?

To be frank, 2011 started a bit rough for me. It was a bumpy ride. And i mean REALLY bumpy. Some of you might think i overreacted, and some of you might even be rolling your eyes while you read this saying "Haa dah start dah Nina ni nak kenang cerita lama lepas tu sedih tah apa apa padahal benda kecik jaa pun amagad go get a life woman". Ok sebenarnya dialog tu aku rasa macam nak cakap dekat diri sendiri. But anyway, that doesnt changed the fact that i was hurt.

Bukan putus cinta ok. Bunyi macam putus cinta kan? Ok geli.

But seriously, the thing that happened makes it hard for me to trust again. Truthfully, i dont know why it affected me so much. It's not like i've never experienced it before. But this one was slightly different. I cried. Sumpah, aku sendiri pun tak faham! Jangan kata saya pondan, please!

As time goes by, the wound slowly healed. The scar's still there, right to this very day, but it's healing. I see the people who hurt me everyday. Back then, yes, it hurts. But now i can just look at them without feeling anything. Nak kutuk pun macam dah buang masa.

And then there's the usual. Exam jitters, study stress and all. Despite the hardship i was going through earlier that year, my grades were pretty good. In fact, i'm even surprised by myself to be able to achieve those grades. Felt like saying "Hah! In your face!" to them but naaah that wouldnt make me a better person. But i did make one jealous hewhew.

Talk about jealousy, 2011's a bit weird for me because i had to handle a lot of jealousy problems... towards me. First, that doesnt even make sense. Why should anyone be jealous of me? Looking at myself in the mirror, all i see is an ugly girl with perut buncit. I'm not even adorable, smart, nor special in any way. Other girls should never have insecurities when dealing with me, cause girl, i aint got nothing. And last time i checked, it's not wrong for a girl to be friends with boys. I was never going to steal anyone's man, or even control anyone in any way. I know the boundaries. But when you let your insecurities eat you, then you're dead meat. This is really funny actually. Jealousy. Even typing the word makes me wanna laugh. Haha.

Towards the end of the year, i think things turned out pretty well. I gained more friends, but the ones i lost, i will never take them back. Call me cold, but that's just the way i roll. But as things goes smoothly, i found myself enjoying too much, which resulted in the fall of my grades. Why is it that when i'm happy, my grades dropped? Maybe i should be miserable to be smart. Haha.

Anyway, i think the biggest thing that 2011 had taught me is TO NOT EVER TRUST PEOPLE SO EASILY. I'm finding it harder to trust people now. I'm always having doubts and negative thoughts. And with that, i lose hope. In fact, i dont even hope for anything anymore. Because i dont trust anyone to even give hope on them. And i think that will save me from all the heartbreak (Ok serious aku bercakap ni macam orang putus cinta. Tapi masih tak). Pathetic, huh? Gosh, this has got to stop. It makes me sound like i should go and see a therapist and talk about it.

So my 2012's resolution? To learn to trust again. And to have more friends, better grades, be a better muslimah and daughter. And maybe a new relationship? Hewhew. Ni semua sebab kawan kawan dok tweet azam 2012 nak cari calon suami/bini. Shit gatal sungguh semuanya. Mentang mentang dah 20 semua bajet matured puii. Haha.

Oh well. Actually i dont have specific resolutions, cause i'd end up screwing them anyway. So why bother. But i do want to improve myself as a person this year. Let's hope future Nina is better than present Nina!

Happy New Year guys. The world ends in 2012? Lols. Korang lek je k.

Bagaimana aku habiskan sisa sisa 2011

Wah lamanya sudah tidak dijenguk blog ni. Tapi aku tau tak ada yang peduli. Tak mengapa. Aku masih peduli, walau sedikit. Banyak yang berlaku sejak aku abandon blog ni buat seketika. Maka eloklah kiranya aku update sedikit sebanyak yang mampu, incase ada peminat rahsia yang sedang gila meroyan nak tahu perkembangan aku. Ha ha. Annoyingnya saya.

*****

1. BBQ

2. Rock The World 2011

Tiga tahun dulu mungkin aku akan excited gila dapat hadirkan diri ke Rock The World. Tapi itu aku yang dulu. Aku yang sekarang dah tak layan muzik indie sangat. Sebab dah tak berapa nak indie. Dulu mungkin aku rasa cool gila mosh mosh di kalangan manusia manusia yang ketiaknya berpeluh. Tapi tidak sekarang. Aku geli.

Tapi aku hadirkan juga diri ke Rock The World 2011. Sebab member punya pasal. Aku pergi sana, aku blur tak tau nak buat apa. Aku tengok budak budak sekolah yang mosh tak sedar diri dekat tengah padang, lalu aku teringat diri aku sendiri beberapa tahun yang lalu. Shit. Tapi Bittersweet, memang awesome as always.

3. Sambutan konon surprise birthday aku

Aku tulis "konon", sebab surprise tak berapa nak menjadi. Haha. Walaupun sebenarnya dah nampak kegelabahan masing masing, aku diamkan saja. Pada mulanya memang aku tak tahu apa apa, tapi ada lah seorang ni baik punya pergi baca text orang lain, lepastu dikantoikan ke aku. Damn spoiler. Hari itu mereka beriya iya ajak aku karaoke. Bila aku tolak, aku dimarah. Aku pun setuju. Masa tu aku tak tahu lagi. Bila harinya tiba, satu satu masalah datang. Tempat karaoke tak ada lah, kereta tak ada lah, practice tarian habis lambat lah. Macam macam. Sumpah aku geli hati haha. Tapi aku kesiankan mereka sebenarnya.

Last last sambutan birthday aku dibuat di Redbox Sunway Pyramid. Mahal nak mampus, tapi aku layankan aja. It's the thought that counts kan.

Terima kasih team - Damia, Zuley, Syamim, Alief - sebab berusaha sedaya upaya nak menjayakan surprise tu. Aku terharu lah, serious. Nampak sangat korang sayang aku kan hewhew. Aku sayang gila kek aku.

Mungkin bukan meraikan, cuma join gitu gitu saja.

Tapi kalau family aku party, kami memang party baik punya. Hehe. Lepastu kami main macam macam game.

Abg Luq ni cool je cerita love story dia dekat kami semua. Comel gila ok dorang. Aku jealous sikit.

5. Trip to Sabah bersama cousins

Yeah i know, tak fancy mana pun cuti dekat Sabah tu. Sabah je kot, sebelah je. Tapi kami had fun. Tak pernah kot bercuti dengan cousins only. No adults means more partying!

(But then, malam Christmas uncle aku decide untuk join jugak. Drastically. Malam itu juga dia beli flight ticket. Esoknya dia kata, benda ni dia buat smabil tak sedar sebab mabuk banyak minum beer. Haha alahai.)

Mula mula kami ke Karambunai. Tagline resort dekat sana is "Some say it's heaven". Well heaven it is! Tempatnya cantik MasyaAllah. Hewhew. Lame bukan.

All in all, Sabah was okay. Kami banyak pusing KK shopping. Sambil shopping kami perhatikan Sabahans. Aku rasa aku kurang gemar dengan hospitality mereka. Especially di Karambunai. Oh well. Yang pasti, cousins lelaki aku semua dah jatuh hati dengan awek Sabah sebab setiap malam aku perlu join perbincangan mereka tentang tahap ke-hot-an awek awek Sabah. Jejaka jejaka gantang Sabah, mana kamu menyorok??

*****

Hmm. We'll see. Kita jumpa lagi! Harap harap soon!

Pinky promise

December is a busy busy month for me. Lots are happening. Both of things that matter and things that i dont give a fuck of.

I will be a better blogger after i get through this. I promise.

Pinky promise.

Missing sugar, spice & everything nice

I miss my old blog.

I used to love writing. I used to anticipate the moment of writing a new post. My writings then include thoughts, opinions, stories and all those important stuff. Stuff that matters. I would have readers, even silent ones, and they would all give their opinions based on what i wrote. That's what i miss the most. The audience. Yes, i love the attention. But dont get me wrong, i do not blog for publicity. But it's nice to know that someone's out there is reading, and is probably thinking the same way i do too.

Now, as you can see, this new blog of mine consist of mostly my stories of how i spoil myself with my friends. In other words, in this blog i appear to be a dumb blonde. Well, atleast to me.

I am disappointed with myself.

So that's why updating this blog has been pushed way down my priority list. Of course, half of the reason why is because i am preoccupied with college life. Assignments, reports, experiments, presentation, etc.

But the fact that i miss the way i blog turns out to be one of the major reasons too.

Maybe i should go back to the way i used to do this kind of thing? Put on more thoughts, observe the world more, and at least try to write something meaningful. Not just some "Last weekend i go party yeah yeah" kind of post.

Shit. This new blog makes me sound like a bitch huh?

Conquering Broga Hill

Two weeks ago, i conquered Broga Hill.

You must be wondering, is this for real? You mean, this Nina, the Nina who would create 1001 irrational excuses just to bail out from jogging? The Nina who pants her way up just three flights of stairs?

Turns out that sissy girl has evolved because she had just conquered Broga Hill - wait for it - like a boss! *flips hair*

Broga Hill is located in Semenyih and is near Nottingham University. Since Semenyih is like so far away, prolly 345678998765km from Shah Alam or whatever, i decided to crash in my friend Syazana's place in Semenyih the night before. The others decided to do so too, so we thought we're gonna have a little girly girl slumber party that night, just us gossiping and eating and stuff (i like the eating part).

Nah, we were too hyperactive that we just cant stay put at home and decided to go karaoke, along with some Nottingham boys. Sang like mad for three hours and went home at about 3am.

First you have to know that Broga Hill is a famous spot for sunrise watching. And so our plan was to get up at 5am and reach the peak before sunrise. But thanks to the power karaoke session we had the night before, we ended up oversleeping! Talk about an epic fail! Pfffttt

So we started our hike at about 8am. They were so many people there, walking along the same route you're taking and i have got to admit that the situation is pretty annoying. But well the hike must go on, so we just mind our own business and slowly made our way up.

Look at how crowded the place was "-__-

The view of the first peak. Weee feels like i'm in a Hindustan movie

All was going well until suddenly...

...someone puked. Haha! The incident was so funny i have just got to blog about it! Fateen was terribly exhausted that she ended up puking in the forest. I pity her, i really do, but the devil inside me just couldnt stop laughing haha.

"Korang teruskan naik je lah. Tinggalkan aku seorang dekat sini. Nanti ayah aku rescue aku pakai helicopter."

Hahahaha you should have seen her face when she said that. Priceless! Should've taken a photo and sell it on eBay.

When we reached the first peak, Fateen was determined not to continue the hike to the fourth peak. We tried everything to get her to move her big ass butt but nothing seemed to work. Until Taka said something to her....

"Kalau kau berjaya naik sampai fourth peak, aku bagi kau satu handbag LV. Original."

And off she went all the way to the highest peak "-___- This girl, so cheap one.

Taka too afraid to lose the bet, and Fateen to excited to receive an LV handbag

Finally!

Anyways, after a while we safely reached the fourth peak when suddenly, unfortunately for us, it rained. We were practically stranded on top of some hill with rain pouring down like mad, like a bunch of homeless kids with no shelter. We took shelter under some trees in the woods and ate some breads while waiting for the rain to stop. Thankfully it didn't took long enough.

The faces of the homeless kids

But then the real problem hit us. How on earth do we go down a hill, with the ground all muddy and slippery, without killing ourselves in the process? The answer is: Good sliding skills.

Of course i didn't have the skills to slide gracefully. I ended up tunggang terbalik like a fat cow and my clothes & shoes were all muddy whenever i try to slide. Once, i slide down at such high speed and wasnt able to stop myself that Shahrin had to grab my wrist and stop me before i went more out of control. Such a dangerous thing, i should be interviewed on TV for surviving that! Hek hek. But to hell with the dangerous bit, the sliding was so much fun! We even sat on a cardboard box and slide down the muddy trail using it. But of course i was the only girl who thought it was fun, the other girls just used the normal way down. Boo.

Going up the Broga Hill was definitely a one of a kind experience for me cause i am not the outdoorsy type who goes camping, or hiking and such that often. So thank you Fateen, Syazana, Syazliza, Farah, Nadia, Shahrin, Faez and Taka for a superb weekend.

Thinking i should do this again another time, this time with another set of friends! :)

Was supposed to be just TTS. I added the small "i" haha

Stupid rants

We meet again for another one of Nina's stupid rants.

1. I was acting foolish last weekend. It was Chic Pop 10, and i did some unnecessary shopping. I saved up some money for the occasion and guess what. I spent them all. ALL! I practically went home with just RM10 in my purse. But weird as it sounds, i never regretted it. Hey i walked out with a new top, new blazer, new bangles & new ring! If that's not the ingredients to a happy woman, then what is?

2. And just a few days ago i bought myself a varsity jacket. But there's a story behind this one. I was so pissed for not being able to go home for Aidiladha that i demanded my parents for some money. "What for?", asked my dad, to which i answer "To survive." What he doesn't know is that by "survive" i meant "shopping for an expensive varsity jacket that i have been eyeing for quite some time." Mwehehehehe if only you would just let me go home, daddy, things would be a lot easier.

3. Just by reading those two points above, you can already imagine how my bank looks like at the moment. Not very pretty me tell ya. But now i want new shoes! Daddy! You reading this?! I want new shoes! Oh my God Becky Bloomwood where is Nina and what have you done to her.

3. Speaking of Aidiladha, i'm sure most of you spent the day with your precious family and delicious food. I, on the other hand, spent it with my friend Asma in Shah Alam with no source of food or whatsoever. Pity huh? (Parents, you guys feeling guilty yet??) Bless Asma for keeping me company. She's such a dear, although i agreed to just ignore the fact that the real reason she was with me was because she's running away from those masjid's men who wanted to slaughter her for korban. Such a coward lembu, this friend of mine. But the day gets better when Emira noticed our sad tweets and generously decided to pick us up to spend the night at hers. So we got to eat real food after all! And we had some company! Hurrah! *fireworks*

4. Emira's house, now this i should rant more on. That place is the mother of all the awesome houses. It's her new house and i guess we were the first few who had got the chance to check it out. It's 4-storeys high, including a basement where they made it into a music studio (they're a musical lot) and a mini cinema/karaoke place. There's a swimming pool, of course, but my favorite spot is definitely the rooftop. I've always wanted a house with a rooftop where i can hang out and just lepak there. Emira's have the view of Subang and according to her, they can easily see fireworks from Sunway Pyramid there. Gosh, i can already imagine the magical feeling.

5. This just happened and at first I told myself to be calm about it and shouldn't even blog about it but to hell with that i definitely can't calm down BECAUSE I LOST MY BELOVED DC BATMAN TANK TOP!! I have been searching everywhere for the past 3 days and still, no clue of its whereabouts. The last time i wore it was a month ago and i'm pretty sure i kept it safely. BUT IT IS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN NOW! IS MY ROOM SOME SORT OF A MINI VERSION OF BERMUDA TRIANGLE? Oh the mysteries of life. I want my Batman back. You reading this, yes you. Find it for me. :(

That's it for today's Nina's stupid rants. Tune in next time for more exciting news.

Big Bad Wolf Book Sales 2011

I grew up reading books. Books from Enid Blyton, Sweet Valley High and such had always been my companion. Heck, i was a total nerdy bookworm. I have a complete set of The Twilight Saga, Eragon, and i've probably read almost every Shopaholic and Cecilia Ahern's books.

But do not blame the books for my glasses. You can blame the Pokemon show i watched everyday at 10am back when i was a kid, with me sitting approximately just two metres away from the screen.

Back to the book talk, when i heard that there will be a massive book sale going on at Serdang called THE BIG BAD WOLF BOOK SALE, i knew i had to be there. I knew i must be there. It's an opportunity of a lifetime!

......only i didn't have a ride. Serdang is so far away and i don't even know where the hell MAEPS is so going there using public transport would be such a burden. But on Sunday afternoon my retarded friend Syamim told me the good news saying he agreed to give us a ride to the book sale. I was so happy i practically did cartwheels 10 times in my mind!

When i reached there, the sight of people dragging boxes and suitcases (yes, suitcases!) of books just excites me. I was like "Koraaannggg cepat sikit boleh taak nanti buku habis koraannggg aku tak sabar nii!!" I was so out of control, Damia and Zuley lost me the minute i entered the hall. True story. If i were to bring a child along with me, i'd most probably lost the child since i was so preoccupied with the heavenly amount of cheap books. Pity Zuley, he was not the book-nerd type so bringing him to the book sale was kinda boring for him. Thank God for Damia for keeping him company, because at that time, i just don't give a damn. Haha.

All the books there were sold at the price as low as RM8! Hardcovers, bestsellers, comics, magazines, you name it. They were all RM8 and below.

HOW IN THE BLOODY BRILLIANT WORLD IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!?

Look at that. Omg bookgasm.

Biography of The Beatles. It was a hit.

New Moon at RM8?! To be thinking i had spent RM30+ for this. Pfft

Grab it while you can mosnters!

I was searching for these! Couldn't find any. Bummer.

Classics. Wanted to buy some, only to realize i have two more of this kind at home that i haven't read yet.

I took several books, decided not to buy some of em along the way, took some again, then having to put them back after realizing that i didn't bring enough cash (it was an unexpected trip, mind you). And i came out with only four books. Only four! Sigh, i am ashamed with myself. And i call myself a book nerd? Curse you non-existing ATM. I came out from the hall giving dirty glances at those carrying boxes and suitcases of books.

Books i bought, hardcovers baybehh. And these are all for RM32. Now that's what you call a sweet bargain.

But anyways, the fact that i had the opportunity to experience the Bid Bad Wolf on its very last day made me a one happy kiddo. Especially since i had accepted the fact that i might not be going in the first place. Thank you Syamim for making it possible. Thank you Zuley for accompanying us even though i know you were bored to bits. And thank youuu Damia for buying more books than me *shoots her multiple times in my mind*.

Those who didn't get to catch the book sale, too bad for you for having to miss out on an exceptionally awesome event. I hope they make this as annual thing (or is it?), cause i will be coming again next year fo sho!

p/s: Photos shamelessly stolen from Big Bad Wolf's Facebook page. We didn't bring along our camera that day, since once again, this was an unexpected trip.
